Las Vegas, Nev. -- Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement on Memorial Day:

"Memorial Day is a time in which we pause to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. This day is an opportunity to demonstrate that although these brave Americans are no longer with us, they live on in our hearts and in our memories. On this solemn day, I also want to express my respect and gratitude to all the family members of service members who provided love and support throughout their loved one's time in uniform. Today is a day of respect, remembrance and reverence."
