Apply for Community Recovery Grant Funding!

Non-profit organizations in Nevada's Fourth District have played a critical role in helping our communities recover from the pandemic. Now — thanks to the American Rescue Plan that Congressman Horsford voted to pass — more funding is available to support their important work.
On December 9, 2021, the State of Nevada announced a $30 million "Community Recovery Grant" program to support non-profits that provide direct and immediate community services. Grant applications opened on December 9, 2021 and will close on January 3, 2022.
Application information is available in English and Spanish at NevadaRecovers.com. Non-profits who previously submitted ideas for funding through the Nevada Recovers Listening Tour must fill out a formal application.
The Community Recovery Grant program is administered by the State of Nevada, but Congressman Horsford's office is available to provide assistance to applicants. Applicants who need help should call the office at (702) 963-9360.
Applications that help Nevada's most vulnerable communities access the resources necessary to relieve hardships experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be prioritized. Potential applicants should keep in mind that the mission of the Community Recovery Grants is to:
- Invest in schools that prepare all children for success
- Solidify a healthy state for all Nevadans
- Provide good jobs for a diverse, vibrant and sustainable workforce
- Support families with access to quality and affordable childcare
- Strengthen secure housing for all who call Nevada home
