Congressman Steven Horsford Sworn-In At North Las Vegas City Hall

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV - Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement following his ceremonial swearing-in as a member of the 116th Congress at North Las Vegas City Hall

"I am humbled by the opportunity to continue fighting for the working and middle class families of Nevada's Fourth Congressional District, said Congressman Horsford. "I ran for Congress to fight to lower prescription drug costs and level the playing field for middle class families. I'm excited to do exactly that on behalf of the people of Southern Nevada."

A former small business owner and Director of the Las Vegas Culinary Training Academy, Congressman Horsford served as a member of the 113th Congress from 2013-2015.

He was joined at today's swearing in by his wife, Dr. Sonya Horsford as well as State Assemblywoman Daniele Monroe-Moreno, State Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson, and Clark County School Board Trustee Linda Young.

The Congressman's newly opened District office is located on the fifth floor of North Las Vegas City Hall at 2250 N. Las Vegas Blvd in North Las Vegas.
