WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) applauded the achievements of the Black Homeownership Collective for their three years of work dedicated to closing the Black homeownership gap and creating 3 million new Black homeowners by 2030. He released the following statement:
“I applaud the Black Homeownership Collaborative for their commitment over the past three years in working to close the Black homeownership gap. This initiative, led by the National Housing Conference and supported by investments from partners such as the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, aims to create 3 million new Black homeowners by 2030 through the 3by30 plan.
“I’m pleased to work with them to benefit my constituents in Nevada and advance my efforts as Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus to close the racial wealth gap. They are not just talking about solutions; they are leading them, and I’m proud to spotlight their efforts to close the Black homeownership gap, a crucial step toward building generational wealth.”
