Congressman Horsford Highlights Wins for Nevada’s Fourth District in 2021 End-of-Year Report
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEV. — Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (D-NV-04) released his 2021 End-of-Year Report to highlight legislative accomplishments, constituent outreach, and taxpayer dollars returned to Nevada's Fourth District over the course of the past year.
"2021 has been a year of rebuilding for Nevada and the nation. As we work to crush the coronavirus, get our economy back on track, and restore faith in our democracy, I am proud that my 2021 End-of-Year Report reflects my commitment to deliver for our communities," said Congressman Steven Horsford. Highlights from the report include:
- $820 million in taxpayer dollars returned to Nevada's Fourth District through casework, grants, and pandemic relief, including $460,840 directly returned to constituents through casework.
- 59,794 answered phone calls, letters, emails, and other constituent correspondence.
- 440+ votes taken for the people of Nevada's Fourth District.
- 16 bills sponsored and 280 bills co-sponsored.
- 5,989 constituent cases opened with the federal government on issues related to Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, immigration, and more.
- 1,409 community events and meetings attended.
- 9 town halls on the American Rescue Plan, the COVID-19 vaccine, the Child Tax Credit, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and more.
