WASHINGTON - Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog one day before his Joint Address to Congress. Their discussion underscored the bilateral partnership between Israel and the United States and the connection between the Jewish and Black communities.

“As we navigate the complexities of the modern global landscape, it’s crucial that we draw strength from our diversity,” said Congressman Horsford. “I had the honor to have this dialogue with President Herzog to delve into important issues, including expanding the Abraham Accords and confronting the challenges posed by Iran. In particular, our discussion about how Israel and the Black community can further our cooperation affirms our mutual commitment to building a future grounded in understanding and respect.”

The conversation spanned a variety of topics, such as the expansion of the Abraham Accords, bipartisan support for Israel, fostering more dialogue between Israel and the Black community, and addressing Iran's nuclear ambitions. In a time when global cooperation and unity among allies is paramount, this meeting provided insights that will help shape American policy and inform future initiatives to foster unity and cooperation between diverse communities both domestically and internationally.
