Congressman Steven Horsford Hosts Census Town Hall to Ensure an Accurate 2020 Census Count
Las Vegas, Nev. — On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 6 p.m., Congressman Steven Horsford will host a town hall on the upcoming 2020 Census count at the Durango YMCA.
"The Census is the most important count of people in our country, responsible for allocating more than $800 billion in federal funding — and it takes place only once every ten years," Congressman Horsford said. "By standing up and being counted in the 2020 Census, you're ensuring that our state has access to the funding it needs for our police and fire departments, our schools, our health care clinics, and Medicaid programs, and many other vital programs. This is a chance to be a part of history and ensure that our state receives the funding and representation it is owed."
