Congressman Steven Horsford Hosts Information Session on the Restaurant Revitalization Fund
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEV. — Today, Congressman Steven Horsford hosted a livestreamed information session about the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, the $28.6 billion program to help restaurants rebuild and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Nevada's small business owners have worked hard to keep their doors open and keep employees on payroll," said Congressman Steven Horsford. "Today's webinar was an important opportunity to share the help available through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund and the American Rescue Plan. I'm grateful to Joe Amato, Shaundell Newsome, and all the small business leaders who helped us make this event possible."
The hybrid session included remarks from Congressman Steven Horsford and Shaundell Newsome, chair of the Executive Committee for the Urban Chamber of Las Vegas. Nevada Small Business Administration District Director Joe Amato provided an overview of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund application process.
This event was hosted in partnership with key leaders from Southern Nevada's small business community, including the Nevada Small Business Administration, the Urban Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center, the Women's Business Center, and SCORE. Small business owners from across Nevada's Fourth District joined online and in-person.
