Congressman Steven Horsford Hosts ‘Save the U.S. Postal Service’ Town Hall
North Las Vegas, Nev. -- Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) will host a virtual town hall to hear from the National Association of Letter Carriers, Nevada State Association of Letter Carriers, the Veterans Affairs Pharmacy Program, Nye County representatives, the Walker River Paiutes, and constituents who have been adversely affected by operational changes and discuss efforts at the federal level to provide critical funding to the Postal Service.
Congressman Horsford recently launched an online platform for constituents to report recent challenges with the U.S. Postal Service amid operational adjustments. Already 500 Nevadans have shared their experiences, including an overwhelming 63% disclosing that they experienced delays in their mail service in the last four months.
