Congressman Steven Horsford Hosts Tax Filing Tele-Town Hall

Las Vegas, Nev. -- Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) will host a remote tele-town hall to discuss the special tax filing and payment deadline of July 15, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The Congressman will be joined by Lina Garnett of Community Services of Nevada, Pat Smith of Nevada Free Taxes Coalition, Shawna Lamothe of Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and Denise Tanata of Community Impact at United Way of Southern Nevada.

"As many families face the economic hardships of this global pandemic, I'm focused on providing them with access to the most up-to-date financial information and resources," said Congressman Steven Horsford. "This evening, I'm looking forward to giving Nevadans the opportunity to speak directly with tax experts to address concerns and provide guidance regarding their taxes."
