Congressman Steven Horsford Hosts Virtual Town Hall on the American Rescue Plan with Small Business Leaders
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV — Today, Congressman Steven Horsford hosted a virtual town hall to highlight provisions in the American Rescue Plan that provide direct relief to Nevada's small businesses. The town hall featured voices from the local business community, including Joseph Amato, Nevada District Director for the Small Business Administration, Jenney Sartin, Executive Director of the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Jocelyn Cordon, owner of Crepe Express, a small business with locations in North Las Vegas and Las Vegas.
"In Nevada and across the nation, small business owners have worked hard to keep their doors open throughout the challenges of the pandemic. I'm proud that the American Rescue Plan provides key relief for our small businesses, including additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and the new Restaurant Revitalization Fund and Shuttered Venue Operators program," said Congressman Steven Horsford. "As we work to recover and rebuild, I'm committed to making sure that every small business has the resources they need. I'm grateful to Joseph Amato, Jenney Sartin, and Jocelyn Cordon for lending their voices and expertise to today's virtual town hall."
