Congressman Steven Horsford Releases Statement to Commemorate Veterans Day

North Las Vegas, NV-- In recognition of Veterans Day, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement.

"Today we honor the brave men and women who have served our nation to provide us the freedoms we all cherish. Last week, millions of Americans exercised their right to vote - a right afforded to us largely by the sacrifices made by our veterans. Nevada's fourth congressional district is home to four military installations, including Nellis Air Force Base, Creech Air Force Base, the Nevada Test and Training Range, Hawthorne Army Depot, and more than 57,000 veterans. It is my honor to represent them in Congress and ensure that their service is not only recognized, but rewarded with the benefits and honor they rightfully deserve."

The veterans' advocates and caseworkers in Rep. Horsford's office are eager to help resolve federal issues faced by U.S. veterans, including claims for disability, retirement, medical, burial, spousal and dependents' benefits. Nevada servicemembers, veterans, and their families with questions relating to Veterans Affairs benefits or case mitigation are encouraged to contact Rep. Horsford's district office at (702) 963-9360 or by visiting horsford.house.gov.
