Congressman Steven Horsford to Announce Veterans Legislation

Las Vegas, Nev. — On November 11, 2019, Veterans Day, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) will unveil new legislation to assist the veteran community at the 14th Annual 1,000 Flags Over Mesquite.

The annual 1,000 Flags Over Mesquite event is hosted by the Exchange Club of Mesquite and honors active military and veterans leading up to Veterans Day, with full-size American flags raised on the fields of the Mesquite Recreation Center.

To honor veterans in Nevada and across the country, Congressman Horsford will deliver remarks to announce the VET Extension Act that he will introduce in the House of Representatives this week. More details on the legislation to come.
