Horsford Applauds Biden-Harris Administration’s Measures to Keep Families Together
NORTH LAS VEGAS – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) issued the following statement in response to the Biden-Harris Administration’s recent announcement of new measures aimed at keeping American families together and providing relief for undocumented spouses and children of U.S. citizens.
“I applaud the Biden-Harris Administration on this effort to support American families,” said Congressman Horsford. “The new measures to provide work permits and a path to citizenship for undocumented spouses and children are important steps forward, and we must continue to work together in a bipartisan and balanced approach on future immigration and border policy. This means allocating robust funding for both the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and passing common-sense solutions to ensure the safety and well-being of our constituents.”

Additionally, it will streamline the process for certain work visas, making it easier for employers to hire and retain Dreamers with advanced degrees.
