“I’m honored to continue serving on the House Armed Services Committee, which will allow me to better represent the thousands of servicemembers who call Nevada’s Fourth Congressional District home,” said Congressman Horsford. “From the Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases to the Hawthorne Army Depot to the Nevada Test and Training Range, I am proud to represent so many members of our armed services. I look forward to working with him to deliver for our men and women in uniform."

“On behalf of Mineral County, I want to extend my congratulations to Congressman Horsford on his appointment to the House Armed Services Committee,” said Mineral County Commissioner Catherine Hall. “We are particularly excited about our Representative having a role on this committee because we are home to Hawthorne Army Depot, the largest Army Ammunition Storage Facility in the world, and we are confident that our interests will be well represented as we endeavor to expand our area ARMS (Armament Retooling & Manufacturing Support) Program businesses to ensure our economic sustainability. I look forward to working closely with Congressman Horsford and his team.”
