Office of Congressman Horsford Provides Passport Services to Nearly 300 Nevadans

April 27, 2026

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV. – The Office of Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04), in partnership with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs Los Angeles Passport Agency, successfully hosted a passport fair this weekend, connecting hundreds of Nevadans with critical passport services and essential community resources.

The event drew nearly 300 attendees, far exceeding the expected RSVP list and underscoring the high demand for accessible, on-the-ground federal services.

“Last year we helped hundreds of Nevadans obtain their much-needed passports without hassle, and this year we did it again,” said Rep. Steven Horsford. “A passport can cost up to $175, putting it out of reach for too many families. This event is about removing barriers and making sure more people can access the opportunities that come with it.”

In addition to passport services, representatives from the Southern Nevada Health District and the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office were on site providing a range of resources, including rapid HIV testing, vaccinations, harm reduction supplies, voter registration information, business registration assistance, and notary services.

The weekend's turnout reflects Congressman Horsford’s ongoing commitment to delivering real, accessible services directly to Nevada families and meeting people where they are to ensure no one is left behind.
