Reps. Titus, Horsford, Lee to Celebrate American Dream and Promise Act Passage
Las Vegas, NV – Tomorrow, June 7th, Representatives Dina Titus (NV-1), Steven Horsford (NV-4), and Susie Lee (NV-3) will celebrate the passage of the American Dream and Promise Act and urge the Senate to take action. The Members of Congress will be joined by local leaders and immigration activists from Make the Road Nevada, the Nevada Immigrant Coalition, and more.
The American Dream and Promise Act, which was co-sponsored by Representatives Titus, Horsford, and Lee, passed the U.S. House of Representatives on June 4th. The legislation provides vital protections for up to 2.5 million immigrants who have spent much of their lives in the United States.
