Congressman Horsford Advocates for Democracy for the People During the CBC Summer of Action

Without our fundamental right to vote, there are no other rights. I was honored to join my colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus at Chicago’s DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center for a Summer of Action event on protecting democracy for the people. Last week's Supreme Court decision proves that there are efforts to create districts that are unconstitutional and discriminatory. I'm working to defend against these abuses and protect our right to vote through education, voter registration, and organizing in local communities.
