Congressman Horsford Joins Al Sharpton to Discuss Voting Rights, Education for Our Students, & More

July 24, 2023

Well, let me start by saying that the black vote is not only important to the Democratic party, but it's crucial for America as a whole. When we uplift black people, we uplift everyone, and that's why the work of civil rights leaders, including voting rights activists, criminal justice reform advocates, and those fighting for economic opportunities for Black America, is so essential. As we approach the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington, we continue to march for justice, equality, and the preservation of our democracy. We must stand up to protect our rights and the institutions that define our nation. The fight is not over, and we will keep marching to address the challenges we face.
