Congressman Horsford Joins Alex Witt to Discuss the Importance of Diversity in Our Military

As a member of the Armed Services Committee, I am dedicated to prioritizing the needs of our military service members and their families. It is disappointing that certain amendments benefiting our service members were rejected, while extreme factions sought to deny access to healthcare and eliminate diverse positions within the military. Senate Democrats must prioritize national security and remove these contentious measures from the bill to ensure its successful implementation. Furthermore, derogatory remarks made by a fellow congressman are unacceptable, and an apology is necessary. Additionally, we will continue to support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty through equipment, resources, and training.
