Rep. Horsford Speaks at Financial Services Hearing about Holding Criminal Fraudsters Accountable

I am pleased to have contributed to the efforts aimed at providing relief for the American populace during the pandemic. Despite a myriad of challenges, we were able to facilitate assistance for families and small businesses. Emergency rental aid ensured that 6.5 million working families were able to maintain their homes. The Paycheck Protection Program, which shielded payrolls of small businesses, prevented the loss of employment for approximately 90 million employees. Furthermore, we supported state and local governments to overcome fiscal shortfalls. The experience was indeed arduous, but I am appreciative of the opportunity to have made a significant impact.
