Rep. Horsford Speaks with Pastor Troy Martinez about Breaking the Cycle of Violence

I'm currently at the White House with Pastor Troy Martinez, a constituent from Nevada's fourth district and the founder of That in Our Schools. We're discussing the community violence intervention funding that we helped secure in the Safer Communities Act, which will help fund programs like That in Our Schools. It's amazing to see the resources finally available to back up Pastor Troy's work, which he has been doing for over 20 years without funding or resources. I'm so glad to see the great work he and so many others in our community have done finally being recognized and supported.
