When our military members answer the call to serve, they face the risk of not knowing whether they will come home. This was definitely a challenge for Chief Warrant Officer 2 Mike Newton (Army Ret.). Mike served in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1988 as an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Technician.
TSgt. Losalio was born in Hilo, Hawaii and decided to join the Air Force so that he could travel, become more educated and gain worldly experience. He has been stationed in Montana, Korea and South Carolina. From 2003-2004 he was a member of the Air Force's touring entertainment ensemble, Tops in Blue and travelled around the country performing Motown tunes for airmen and their families.
