As the representative of Nevada, I know the importance of Nellis Air Force Base, Creech Air Force Base, and the Nevada test and training range. These locations house numerous critical assets vital to our country's security. As a result, I believe that transparency is critical when it comes to the information being collected in these areas.

Bad policing shouldn't exist anywhere in America. This is not a Republican issue or a Democratic issue. This is about safety. All of us should want safety. It's important to hold law enforcement accountable for their actions and ensure they are properly trained to handle situations. 

I believe in supporting law enforcement and funding our police. The men and women who work in law enforcement do their jobs nobly every day. However, when there are incidents of bad policing practices, we must address them. Upholding the law and ensuring safety for all should be top priorities.

It's frustrating to see the wealthiest Americans constantly finding ways to evade taxes or hide their money in secret offshore bank accounts just to avoid paying their fair share. It's not fair to the rest of us who are diligently paying our taxes on time. Something needs to be done to address this persistent problem.

As the majority caucus of chaos fails to elect a speaker, their disorder is yet another indication that they are not interested in governing for everyday Americans. Together with my colleagues from the Congressional Black Caucus and House Democrats, we are united in our support for Hakeem Jeffries to be the next speaker of the house.

I am in support of H.R 9640, the Presidential Tax Filings and Audit Transfer Transparency Act of 2022. It's important that Congress takes action now, and I urge my colleagues to vote in favor of this measure. Restoring the American people's confidence in our tax system is crucial, as it will ensure transparency and accountability in government.

My bipartisan, bicameral legislation, the Great Basin National Heritage Area, and the Mormon Pioneer National Heritage Area Extension Act were included as part of the National Heritage area act, which is currently being debated.

 It's frustrating to see how we have a two-tiered tax system in place. The average working person is held to one standard, while the very rich and well-connected seem to be held to a different one. Something needs to change.
