I am pleased to have contributed to the efforts aimed at providing relief for the American populace during the pandemic. Despite a myriad of challenges, we were able to facilitate assistance for families and small businesses. Emergency rental aid ensured that 6.5 million working families were able to maintain their homes.

There is a need for on-base accommodation at Creech Air Force Base, where over 3,000 airmen are currently employed. It would be beneficial to provide basic amenities closer to their workplace as they currently have to travel over 45 minutes to reach Nellis Air Force Base, which houses significant military facilities, including Nellis Air Force Base and Hawthorne Army Depot.

I wholeheartedly support the importance of voting rights and the need for fair and equal access to the ballot box. It is crucial that we honor the memory of those who fought for this fundamental right, such as the brave individuals who marched in Selma on Bloody Sunday. We must continue to work towards a more just and equitable society, where every voice is heard and every vote counts.

It's important to remember that there are children and families in our district and all across the country who rely on SNAP benefits. For them, it's about food insecurity and not having access to the basics they need to take care of themselves. It means going to school hungry and not having the quality of life they deserve. It's important to listen to our constituents and deliver for them.
