Passport Fair

Join the office of Congressman Horsford and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs for Our Passport Fair.

  • When: Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25t 9:00AM - 2:30pm
  • Where: Centennial Hills YMCA 6601 N. Buffalo Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89131
    • Appointment Only: Scan the QR Code or visit Horsford.House.gov for appointment reservations.

Representatives from the Southern Nevada Health District and the Secretary of State’s office will also be on site April 24 to offer their services including:

  • Rapid HIV testing, safe sex kits, harm reduction supplies
  • Voter registration information
  • Business registration
  • Notary services
  • And more...

To apply for your U.S. passport, you must:

  • Submit your completed application, DS-11, to request the Passport Book, Passport Card, or both; or submit the Renewal form, DS-82, to renew your passport. The application forms DS-11 and DS-82 can be downloaded from this website: travel.state.gov.
  • Submit your original evidence of U.S. Citizenship:
    • A certified copy of your birth certificate;
    • An original Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship;
    • An original Report of Birth Abroad; or
    • A previously issued, undamaged U.S. passport.
  • Bring a photocopy of your evidence of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Submit one recent Passport Photo - 2 inches x 2 inches. No glasses in photos.
  • Present valid Photo Identification - Driver’s License, State ID Card, current passport, or Military ID, and submit a photocopy of the front and back of that ID.
  • Payment of passport fee by credit/debit card, check, and/or money order.
  • U.S. Passport Book: Used for international travel by land, air, and sea.
  • U.S. Passport Card: Used for entering the United States at land border crossings and sea ports-of-entry from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Not valid for international air travel.
  • Validity of Books and Cards: 10 years for adults (ages 16 and older); 5 years for minors (under the age of 16).
  • Processing Times by mail: Routine: 4-6 weeks; Expedited: 2-3 weeks and an extra $60 fee.
  • Passport applicants must appear in person, including minors. Passport applications for minors under 16 require the consent of both parents or evidence that one parent has sole legal custody.
