WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (D-NV-04), a member of the Ways and Means Committee, introduced legislation to provide Americans with economic relief from exorbitantly high gas prices. The Supporting Americans from Vehicle Energy Costs (SAVE) Act would provide a $300 monthly tax credit for each registered private vehicle to help offset the costs consumers are paying at the pump.
Nevada Rep. Steven Horsford (D) introduced a bill that would provide a $300 monthly tax credit to offset historically high gas prices, his office announced on Wednesday.
It's called the Supporting Americans from Vehicle Energy Costs (SAVE) Act.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Three members of Congress from Nevada have joined a push to raise the threshold for reporting winnings on casino slot machines.
U.S. Reps. Dina Titus, Steven Horsford and Mark Amodei, plus two other representatives from Pennsylvania and Maryland, have introduced the Shifting Limits on Thresholds, or SLOT, Act.
Currently, when a casino player wins $1,200 or more on a slot machine, the machine must be taken out of service temporarily and the player must fill out a W-2G tax reporting form, per federal regulation.
