The Inflation Reduction Act will reduce costs for seniors, with my provision to cap out-of-pocket costs at $2k. It will lower energy costs, a major driver of inflation. And my bill, the HOME Act would lower housing costs and ensure you get a fair shot to buy a home.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford this week voted for historic, bipartisan legislation to strengthen Nevada families’ financial future, boost America’s research advantage and safeguard our economic and national security for generations to come. The CHIPS and Science Act will deliver a powerful investment in America’s global competitiveness – creating jobs, slashing kitchen table costs, ending dependence on foreign manufacturers and turbocharging American innovation. It is important to understand the current economic situation in which we find ourselves. After more than a decade of historically low-interest rates, practically at zero, corrections are now being made. I am happy to express the success of securing funding for the North Las Vegas Park and Sports Complex, which is undergoing a major renovation to bring it back to its former glory days, and maybe even better than ever before. The goal now is to revive the Cheyenne Sports Complex and make it the central hub for recreation up north once again.
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, celebrated the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the annual funding bill for the Department of Defense and our nation’s Armed Forces.
