WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) spoke on the House Floor in support of the Affordable Connectivity Program Expansion Act, legislation aimed at ensuring continued internet access for the over 23 million families that benefit from the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) through a $7 billion investment, including 274,474 in Nevada and one-in-four families in NV-04.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) virtually addressed the Children’s Advocacy Alliance (CAA) third annual Winter Policy Summit, where he emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive policy solutions facing Nevada’s children and families. The CAA summit brought together policymakers, service providers, and community leaders to discuss strategies for improving child and family welfare. WASHINGTON – Following the House Armed Services Committee hearing in review of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s unannounced medical leave, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) reaffirmed his support for the Secretary and criticized the hearing as a distraction from the many pressing issues facing Congress. He urged his colleagues to direct their efforts to more pressing national security issues, such as supporting our allies, funding our military, and ensuring our servicemembers have the resources they need.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) gave welcome remarks at the Innovations in Mortgage Finance Symposium, speaking about his commitment to closing the racial wealth gap and building intergenerational wealth in all of our communities, particularly Black communities. 

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) voted against the impeachment of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. He released the following statement after the vote: 

WASHINGTON – Congressman Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement following his vote to pass the bipartisan tax legislation that expands the Child Tax Credit to help an estimated additional 49,000 children in Nevada’s Fourth Congressional District. The legislation also delivers other critical wins to hardworking families and businesses, and it passed by a vote of 357-70 on the House floor. 

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) spoke on the House Floor to confront House Republicans on their rejection of bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform. He accused them of refusing to take yes for answer by repeatedly blocking attempts to fix our broken immigration system.
