Las Vegas, Nev. – Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) unveiled new legislation to build on the ACA to lower health costs and prescription drug prices: the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act. This legislation comes one day before the Trump Administration is due to file a brief asking the Supreme Court to strike down the entirety of the Affordable Care Act.

Las Vegas, Nev. -- Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) will host a tele-town hall on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Enhancement Act, a legislative package that will provide much needed relief by making health care and prescription drugs more affordable. The legislation also expands access to health care, strengthens protections for people with pre-existing conditions, reduces racial and ethnic health coverage disparities and reverses the Trump Administration's harmful actions to sabotage the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

One of the letters is directed to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel calling on him to immediately schedule a vote in the Senate on H.R. 6. The second letter is directed to President Trump calling on him to not make any further attempts to repeal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, comply with the Supreme Court decision and to endorse H.R.
