NORTH LAS VEGAS—Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) announced that he has named Joi Holliday-Sparrow his District Director. Holliday-Sparrow is an experienced government and public affairs professional who most recently served as the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's director of advocacy.
 

WASHINGTON – Today, on the 32^nd anniversary of the death of his father due to gun violence, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) announced that his Break the Cycle of Violence Act (H.R. 5003) reached a new high mark of 112 co-sponsors and committed to achieving a goal of 150 co-sponsors.

The roundtable discussion will focus on protecting democracy, criminal legal system reform, and closing the racial wealth gap in Nevada and nationwide.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) hosted Arria, a former foster youth from Nevada’s Fourth Congressional District, for the annual Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day. Arria had the opportunity to gain a firsthand look at the workings of Congress and discuss crucial issues related to foster care and child welfare in Nevada.
