WASHINGTON D.C. — Today, Congressman Steven Horsford reintroduced the Dynamic Glass Act of 2021, which would incentivize businesses to invest in the technology and deployment of electrochromic glass to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and advance President Biden's Build Back Better plan. Electrochromic glass is a specialized glass product that saves energy by providing control over the amount of light and heat entering a building.

The legislation will protect over 2 million acres of public land for conservation and recreation while allowing Clark County to develop affordable housing and responsibly plan for population growth projections. This legislation would be the largest conservation bill in Nevada history.

This legislation would require the consent of Nevada's governor, affected local governments, and impacted local tribes before a nuclear waste repository is constructed at Yucca Mountain.
