WASHINGTON – Congressman Steven Horsford today reacted to the decision of the United States Supreme Court to overturn a 50-year precedent that had guaranteed a woman’s right to decide to have an abortion. In their decision, the court overturned the rulings of Roe v. Wade in 1973 and Casey v. Planned Parenthood in 1992, which had prevented states from restricting access to abortion. In the state of Nevada, access to abortion remains legal.

The agreement includes language from H.R. 4118, The Break the Cycle of Violence Act, introduced by Horsford last June.
