Washington, D.C. — Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) joined his Democratic colleagues in Congress this week to send a letter to the United States Department of Agriculture, opposing changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program proposed by the Trump Administration that would make it harder for families to receive benefits.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) joined his colleagues on the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force in calling on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to end the Senate's August recess and pass gun safety laws passed by the House of Representatives earlier this year in the wake of this past week's violent mass shootings.

TSgt. Losalio was born in Hilo, Hawaii and decided to join the Air Force so that he could travel, become more educated and gain worldly experience. He has been stationed in Montana, Korea and South Carolina. Mercury, NV — On Friday, Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) joined his colleagues in Congress on a visit to Yucca Mountain, located within Nevada's Fourth Congressional district, only 90 miles outside of Las Vegas. Congressman Horsford joined Representatives Scott Peters (CA-52), Mike Levin (CA-49), and Bill Flores (TX-17) on a trip to Yucca Mountain to assist in educating his colleagues on the impact that a nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain would have on his constituents in the fourth Congressional district and Nevada more broadly.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Steven Horsford (NV-04) today announced the creation of the Congressional Black Caucus' Census 2020 Taskforce to encourage participation and ensure a fair and accurate count of all people in the United States.

"The Constitution declares that we must count all persons in this country. The Trump administration has taken coordinated action specifically to discourage and frighten people away from participating in the 2020 census, and now we are fighting back," Congressman Horsford said.
