I emphasize the need for bipartisan efforts to address gun violence and advocate for measures to keep our communities safe due to the alarming rates of mass shootings occurring in our country. I also acknowledge the historical injustices faced by African Americans and support the idea of reparations as a means of addressing systemic discrimination.
